Photographer Erik Gehring hears the call of the Arboretum, and over the last two years has heeded that call weekly. In every season, fair weather and foul, he has explored all 265 acres of the Arboretum, often returning to the same subject on numerous occasions in order to observe change over time and capture a continuously shifting dynamic that might otherwise go unnoticed.
Erik Gehring lives in Roslindale, a five-minute walk from Peters Hill. He has shown his work extensively throughout Boston, including City Hall, Hyde Park, Jamaica Plain, and Roxbury. More of his work may be seen at www.erikgehring.com.
