Fellowships and Awards
The Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University promotes and supports research in a host of
interdisciplinary sciences congruent with its mission to discover and disseminate knowledge of the plant kingdom. To advance independent and collaborative exploration, the Arboretum offers a number of fellowship opportunities to students, post-doctoral researchers, and professionals of the biological and horticultural sciences. Fellows are encouraged to define and develop paths of inquiry using the Arboretum’s highly valuable set of resources, including its world-renowned living collection, herbarium, plant records, library and archives, greenhouse and laboratories, and the expertise of its staff. As a historically significant and internationally recognized center for woody plant research and collaboration, the Arboretum is well positioned to help investigators advance their own work, as well as the field in general.
