The Arnold Arboretum has launched a $250,000 fundraising campaign to improve lighting systems and replace windows in the Dana Greenhouses, renovations aimed at achieving greater energy efficiency and long-term energy savings for the Arboretum’s extensive propagation activities.
The Dana Greenhouses require critical updates to align the Arboretum’s propagation activities with its aspirations for greater sustainability. Planned renovations include modernizing lighting systems and retrofitting windows to increase energy efficiency in the headhouse. With one quarter of the campaign total in hand, the Arboretum requests support from our friends and community of supporters to make this effort a success.
You support will help extend the life of our greenhouses, advance energy conservation at the Arboretum, and contribute meaningfully to institutional goals for enhanced plant propagation and sustainability. Please make a gift today!
