Ana Eder-Mulhane, Visitor Engagement Assistant

As a JP resident, the Arboretum has always been a source of discovery, peace, beauty and exercise for my family and so I was thrilled to see the position for Visitor Engagement Staff open. Now to be able to walk to work, and learn so much daily about the incomparable collection, the landscape, the wildlife, the many faceted mission and the ecological importance of the Arboretum is a great pleasure. To be able to share this knowledge with our visitors, to suggest a good exploratory route, to research and answer a myriad of questions, to share some of the history, or to identify a specific plant, are just a few ways to make the Arboretum more accessible and appreciated by those who walk here.

As an Argentine, I love using both Spanish and English in my work as a bilingual writer, singer songwriter and Spanish teacher. I am so glad to offer any interpretation or translation to our visitors from Spanish speaking countries who may need them.
