I began my career at the Arboretum in February 2015 as a temporary employee and was lucky to be employed as a regular employee in May 2015. As the HR/Payroll Coordinator I manage the weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payrolls, serve as the point person for employees for payroll, time and labor and absence management questions; serve as the HR resource for policies and benefits questions; and partner with the Director of Finance and HR Consultant for ad hoc projects and assignments.
In my free time I like to craft, including quilting, needlework and candy making, each Christmas with a friend we make candy, it has been a tradition with us for the last 40 years. I also enjoy traveling with my husband.
