Living Collections Fellow
Boston, MA 02130
BS Horticulture, Virginia Tech
I first came to the Arboretum in spring 2014 as a intern in the Hunnewell Internship Program. Since then, I have served in several roles within the Horticulture and Greenhouse departments. I am particularly interested in the woody flora of central and southern Appalachia, particularly those with potential to be added to the Arboretum’s collections.
My current position as Living Collections Fellow affords me the great privilege to interact and cooperate closely with the Arboretum’s Curation staff to help determine what taxa to collect and how, where, and when to do so. This assignment encompasses broad and diverse activities, with collection interests reaching as far afield as mountain ranges in western China and as close as our own backyard in southern New England.
