The beautiful flowers of pinkshell azalea (Rhododendron vaseyi) are now in bloom at several places in the Arboretum, including Meadow Road, Dawson Pond, and the Leventritt Garden. This rare species has a very limited native range so conservation of it is important. Read more about this and other conservation species in the collections.
