This month we will focus on the diversity of insect pollinators and the many strategies that insects use for pollinating flowers in the landscape. Using nets and bug boxes, teachers will practice capturing pollinators for close observations and learn to identify a few species. Through a simulation, teachers will also deepen their understanding of flower form and pollinator adaptations.

As always, resources and strategies for working with children in the outdoors will be shared and discussed.
