Our regular free tour season begins April 13 with Saturday and Sunday tours. Enjoy a 90 minute walk though the landscape as it springs into the greening of April. From the golden flowered Cornus mas (cornelian cherry) to the floral explosion of the Prunus species (cherries) there is an abundance of color and promise. These tours are free, no registration is necessary. Our private tours are perfect for groups of more than 4 or 6.
Theme tours include a Photography Walk on April 13 with our current artist, photographer Chris Morgan. The always popular bird walks continue with an April Bird Walk that focuses on breeding activity. Spring into Health is a another great way to see the Arboretum landscape while getting in shape, and discover the fascinating world of research at the Arnold Arboretum’s Weld Hill Research and Administration building.
